Tamara began her career in fashion with a Product Development company in New York. Moving on from there she continued her career in fashion while working for the women’s wear division at Ralph Lauren in his Broadway showroom. After spending some time traveling in Europe and visiting some of the world’s leading fashion cities she decided to take on the task of running a boutique. While working at the boutique, she began doing some wardrobe consulting for some of her clients. That gave her a desire to want to expand in the consulting world and become a full time fashion stylist. Upon that decision she headed south for Dallas to start her company she later named Savvy.
Along with consulting for her clients she is a stylist for various fashion events in Dallas and recently began writing the fashion column for Southlake Style magazine. Tamara also travels to New York for shopping opportunities and to work with her New York clientele. She has spent the last few summers working alongside New York based Cotton Incorporated teaching teens who are interested in pursuing a career in fashion. A “Fashion Camp” was created to help teens get an early start in the fashion industry where Tamara is a consultant.
Working with a variety of clientele and spending as much time in New York as possible, has been amazing. She hopes the ride will never end!
